Dowery Creek Sip & Splash

Please join us August 4-6 at the Dowery Creek Marina.  Bring your bathing suits, kayak/paddle boards, pot luck meal item, meat for the grill, a side to share, favorite beverages and games with you.

We will give Dowery Creek Marina a list of boats who have signed up but each boat is responsible for making their own reservations and paying the deposit. 

Activities to include:

August 4th: Arrival and meet up with friends to relax in the pool.  Pot Luck Dinner at the Club House.

August 5th:  Kayak/dinghy exploration at 9:00.
Afternoon social and pool games.
Cookout with shared sides (bring your own meat of choice.)

August 6th: Head home.

As many of you know, Dowery Creek is under new management/ownership.  So far, the group is getting excellent reviews and is striving to continue their role as a vital ICW stop.  With this transition, they are working through some very key items.  The restaurant (The Salty Crab) does not have immediate plans to reopen.  The pool is over 30 years old and is currently undergoing a massive renovation.  We have been in contact with Dowery Creek and they hope to have the pool ready to go before our dates.  We will monitor the pool developments closely and communicate accordingly!  

In the meantime, please save the dates and we look forward to seeing you on the water!
